Nashville photographer Paul J. Hughes has been involved in all facets of media. After several years in commercial radio, he became the CEO of a full service advertising agency. Over 14 years the company became a top billing and award winning agency handling work for hundreds of local, regional and national businesses. Hughes has been awarded several FCC radio station licenses and was recognized in Who's Who of Advertising. He has also served as Producer for a film production company and has held various V.P. Marketing positions in the corporate world. Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Hughes devotes his time to stock, commercial and wedding photography along with commercial writing and audio production projects. Awards include numerous photography awards, 39 local & regional ADDY awards, Radio & Production Magazine's 2002 Best Medium Market Commercial Award, the 2003 Maxim Star Silver Award for creative radio production and a Silver Microphone Award. Polaris, Inc Corporate Photography: National dealer show for this ATV and Motorcycle manufacturer held at Opryland Resort, Nashville. Paul Hughes provided coverage for three nights of presentations of new products for an audience of 3000 attendees.

Vestas - Denmark Tennessee wind farm: Nashville photographer Paul J. Hughes was hired to photograph a new wind turbine project in Tennessee. The 18 turbines stand 265 feet tall and generate electricity for middle Tennessee. Coverage included shots from atop one of the turbine housing units and various landscape views. All Seasons Sunrooms Start-up collateral: Destined to be one of the nation's top sunroom manufacturers, All Seasons Sunrooms has begun soliciting for new dealers. Paul J. Hughes was hired through GRANDESIGN to write all the collateral material. This kit includes an introductory letter from the President, a two-sided 6 x 11 card with a perfed mail back reply card, a 4-color display piece, a final note incentive folded card and various application materials. All Seasons Sunrooms is a new manufacturer based in Lexington, Kentucky. GRANDESIGN(sic) is an advertising graphic design firm.
Centre College The recruitment department at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky asked Paul Hughes to photograph summer interns for forthcoming collateral material.
House of Commons Films A work-in-progress video documentary about the history of the Wyoming Big Horn and a Wyoming historian who has collected and restored frontier buildings. Black and White stills and color transparencies were shot for inclusion in the video and accompanying book as well as project promotions for House of Commons. Alfresco Pasta Web site & corporate collateral: Alfresco Pasta serves restaurants and other commercial food accounts in an 8 state area. We have captured the production of fine pasta manufacturing in a state of the art facility. Crab ravioli, low carb fusilli, pesto gnocchi, fettuccine and more have been photographed in production from the blending of ingredients to the final table service.
ARI - New Jersey Magazine editorial photography: When ARI of New Jersey was involved in the sales of new vehicles to the Tennessee Valley Authority, Paul Hughes shot photos of the ARI representative with Chattanooga TVA members for an upcoming national business magazine.
Genie Walker A jazz performer from Pittsburgh, PA...Genie Walker debuts her new CD soon. Paul Hughes and crew shot a full day with makeup and props on a tropical motif set for the complete CD project. Medium format, film.
Venture Inward Magazine Paul J. Hughes' stock photo titled "Zipper" was used for the inside front cover of this bi-monthly full color international magazine. It's Just Lunch Just landed! It's Just Lunch is a national franchise dating service for busy professionals with over 60 locations. Paul J. Hughes was retained as Public Relations councel responsible for handling all media releases and and media purchases in the Nashville area. To date, the franchise company based in San Diego, is responsible for just over 10,000 marriages. Not bad!
Hazleton Live! CD "Kings of Instruments" refers to a dual instrument concert. Renowned theatre organist Tom Hazleton performed live on a Moller Opus 11, 192 and on an Allen MDS 317 for this double CD issue. Cravens Video L.A. Ken Cravens - Los Angeles director hired Hughes to shoot stills for a 2003 summer music video release for the rock band SOULUS. A very industrial look required our recommendation of several film types and locations to achieve the desired effect.
